హృదయం మురళి సినిమా గురించి చెప్పాలంటే, ముందుగా నటీనటుల విషయానికి వస్తే ఫహాద్ ఫాసిల్, కాయదు లోహార్, అథర్వ మురళి, ప్రీతి ముఖుందన్ అందరూ తమ తమ పాత్రల్లో చాలా బాగా నటించారు. ముఖ్యంగా ఫహాద్ ఫాసిల్ స్క్రీన్ ప్రెజెన్స్ సినిమాకు మంచి బలం. అలాగే ఈ చిత్రంలో థమన్ కూడా ఒక కీలక పాత్రలో కనిపిస్తాడు.
సినిమా విషయానికి వస్తే, మొదటి 30–40 నిమిషాలు ప్రేక్షకులను బాగా నవ్విస్తాయి. ఆ ప్రారంభ భాగంలో ఉన్న కాన్సెప్ట్ కూడా చాలా కొత్తగా, ఆసక్తికరంగా అనిపిస్తుంది. అయితే ఆ తర్వాత కథ నెమ్మదిగా సాగడంతో సినిమా వేగం కాస్త తగ్గిన భావన కలుగుతుంది.
రెండో భాగంలో కొన్ని సన్నివేశాలు బాగున్నప్పటికీ, మొత్తం మీద మాత్రం ల్యాగ్ ఎక్కువగా అనిపించింది. ముఖ్యంగా హీరో పాత్రను పూర్తిస్థాయిలో తీర్చిదిద్దలేకపోయారనే భావన కలిగింది. కొన్ని సందర్భాల్లో హీరో పాత్రకే అదే పెద్ద విలన్గా మారినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది.
సాంకేతిక అంశాల్లో డబ్బింగ్ మాత్రం నిరాశపరిచింది. ముఖ్యంగా థమన్కు ఇచ్చిన డబ్బింగ్ వాయిస్ అంతగా సెట్ కాలేదు. అది పాత్రకు సరిపోయినట్లు అనిపించలేదు. అలాగే పాటలు కూడా అవసరానికి మించి ఉన్నట్లుగా అనిపించాయి.
మొత్తానికి మొదటి భాగం వినోదాన్ని అందించినా, రెండో భాగంలో మరింత బలమైన స్క్రీన్ప్లే ఉండి ఉంటే సినిమా మరో స్థాయికి వెళ్లేదని అనిపించింది. ఒకసారి చూడదగ్గ ఫీల్-గుడ్ మూవీ అయినప్పటికీ, కొన్ని లోపాలు మాత్రం స్పష్టంగా కనిపిస్తాయి.
