#Epic A Relationship Drama That Never Really Connects!

First half starts well with the India episodes and few enjoyable moments but loses its way after a while. The film never builds a convincing conflict around the live in relationship, and the second half becomes tiring with forced emotions and characters behaving inconsistently. Even the parents angle towards the end fails to create much impact, leading to an unsatisfying climax.

The UK setting adds very little, and for a film trying to be relatable, a lot of it just feels artificial. Hesham’s music is decent. Performances by the lead cast are sincere but the writing lets them down big time. Not up to the mark!

#Sardar2 Promising Ideas, Lifeless Execution!

An interesting start dives straight into the story, but the over the top execution never really engages. PS Mithran comes up with a few promising ideas and a decent message, but the narration is childish and unconvincing. Film is unnecessarily long. Sam CS’s music is a major letdown, while the production values and a few action sequences stand out.

Had potential, but ends up being a disappointing watch.

#BethlehemKudumbaUnit A Fun Rom-Com That Keeps Things Simple and Entertaining!

Sensible and lighthearted take on an age-gap love story. First half is fun and filled with small moments that keep you smiling, while the second half maintains the same flow before dipping in the middle and starts to feel stretched out in the pre-climax with some drag and an out of place fight. However, the simple yet heartwarming climax brings it back together nicely.

Nivin Pauly plays the older role perfectly, while Mamitha once again steals the show. It relies on familiar rom com tropes and doesn’t offer anything particularly new, but remains entertaining throughout with a few heartwarming moments along the way. Girish AD delivers another enjoyable rom com after Premalu. Winner!!

#Romanchakam Artificial Short Film Vibes With Only a Few Comedy Scenes Working!

Film is boring for most of its runtime, with tiring staging, barely any plot, and an artificial short film feel. Few dialogues and comedy scenes work in both halves, along with the climax, but the rest feels very dragged. Love story portions are practically nonexistent, while the weak writing and editing make it feel like a bunch of chaotic scenes stitched together

Narendra Ravi is the only real saving grace and carries the film with his comic timing. Without him, this would’ve been an even more exhausting watch. This really doesn’t feel like something Sandeep Reddy Vanga would sign off on. Disappointing!

Completed watching #Irumudi. The pre-climax and climax worked really well. The Ayyappa Deeksha is beautifully woven into the narrative and serves as the film’s central backdrop.

The father-daughter relationship is handled very effectively, while Shiva Nirvana’s writing and screenplay are strong.

Ravi Teja delivers a very natural performance, and Baby Nakshatra is terrific.

GV Prakash Kumar’s music - both the songs and background score - is a major plus.

Overall, #Irumudi is a blockbuster!

#Irumudi Satisfactory Slow-Burn Emotional Thriller That Has Its Share of Writing Flaws but Is Hard-Hitting and Sincere Enough!

First half is on the slow side but stays engaging and builds a neat emotional connect through the father-daughter bond. Second half works in parts. It has convenient writing and villains who feel overly cruel at times just for shock value. Despite that, a few key twists work, the emotional core stays intact, and the climax lands very well.

Ravi Teja delivers his best performance in recent times and this is easily his better outings in a while. Nakshatra is superb. Writing has its flaws and this template does feel familiar at times, but it remains sincere and meaningful enough to be given a try!

#VishwanathAndSons A Watchable, Clean Family Entertainer With a Good 1st Half but a Weak 2nd Half!

After a slow start, the first half feels refreshing and stays focused on the core plot with a good mix of fun and emotion. Just when you expect that flow to continue, the second half drifts into melodrama with subplots that don’t really work and the fun becoming limited. The climax is handled a little better.

Suriya, Mamitha, and Radhika all deliver solid performances. Venky Atluri’s dialogue writing is the film’s biggest strength, while the music is adequate. The second half simply needed better writing. Still, it works once as a clean timepass family entertainer, though it had the potential to be much better.

#Lenin Template Commercial Film with a Few Interesting Twists!

Decent intro with a setup drawing parallels to the Mahabharatham. However, the film soon turns flat with an ineffective love story and tried and tested commercial beats. The film picks up from the pre-interval, and while a few second half blocks and twists work well, its biggest issue is that it feels too reminiscent of rural dramas we’ve seen before, giving it an outdated feel at times.

Thaman’s music is a hit and miss, and the song placement is bad. Akhil shows improvement over his previous outings and delivers a watchable film, but this one doesn’t have enough to be a completely satisfying watch. Average!
